Using the Hot Wire Feature for Candidate–Job Matching

This document explains how to use the Hot Wire feature to quickly match a known candidate against multiple job descriptions (JDs) in the system and add them to suitable requirements.

Step 1: Open the Candidate Profile

If you have a specific candidate in mind whom you want to evaluate against multiple job descriptions, first open that candidate’s profile in the system.

Step 2: Select the Candidate to Evaluate

From the list or search results, select the candidate you want to work with. Ensure you are viewing the correct candidate whose suitability you want to compare across open requirements.

Step 3: Access the Hot Wire Feature

On the candidate’s profile, locate the Hot Wire option. This feature allows you to see how well the candidate matches all the job descriptions available in the system.

Step 4: Review Matching Job Descriptions

Use the Hot Wire view to see all job descriptions for which this candidate is a suitable match. For example, you might see around ten requirements where the candidate fits the criteria. If the candidate was not selected for a particular requirement, you can consider them for these other matching requirements instead.

Step 5: Add the Candidate to a Selected JD

Against each matching requirement, you will find an Add option. Click Add to associate the candidate with a specific job description that appears in the Hot Wire matches.

Step 6: Confirm Use of the Hot Wire Feature

The list of matches you see and the ability to add the candidate to those requirements are all part of the Hot Wire feature, which streamlines reusing strong candidates across multiple relevant openings.
