Candidate Search and Filtering in the Platform

Use this page to efficiently find candidates based on skills, resume content, name, job title, and various filters such as status, availability, location, and interview details.

Step 1: Open the Candidate Search Page and Use Skill-Based Search

By default, you can search for candidates by skill on this page. If you know some of the candidate’s skills, start by typing the relevant skill into the search field.

If those skills are present in their resumes, the platform will retrieve candidates using either resume-based or AI-powered search options.

Step 2: Search by a Specific Skill Keyword

Let’s begin with an example skill, such as “AWS.”

Type the skill (e.g., “AWS”) into the skill search box. The system will list all candidates who suitably match that skill. Review the resulting candidates—these are typically those already interviewed—and select any profile you want to take forward in your hiring process. This is the primary method for searching by skill.

Step 3: Search by Skills Mentioned in Resumes

You can also search specifically for skills that appear within candidate resumes.

For example, type “fine-tuning LLM” as the skill you are looking for.

The platform will display candidates whose resumes contain that skill. You will also see your recent searches for quick reuse. Apply any available filters as needed to narrow down the list to the most relevant profiles.

Step 4: Search by Candidate Name

If you know the candidate’s name, you can search directly using the name search field.

For example, type “Praveen” into the name field, then select the suggested name from the dropdown.

You can either choose a specific candidate from the suggestions or click Search to view all candidates named “Praveen” in the database and then identify the one you are looking for.

Step 5: Search by Job Title or Job Role

You can also search candidates by their job title or role.

Start typing the job title or role, and a list of matching roles will appear. Once you see the relevant role, click on it.

The system will then display candidates associated with that job title or role, allowing you to focus on profiles that match the position you need to fill.

Step 6: Refine Results Using Filters (Status, Availability, Interview, Location, and More)

After running any search, refine the results using the available filters on the page. You can filter by candidate status and availability.

You can also apply filters related to interviews.

Further narrow down your results by using filters such as location and other advanced options.

Use all applicable filters to precisely search for and identify the candidates you want to engage or poach for the day.
