How to Watch a Candidate Interview

Overview

Welocity allows recruiters to view AI Video Interviews conducted by Octo directly from the Candidates dashboard or from the candidate profile. You can watch the full recording, review AI interview analysis, and evaluate the candidate’s responses in one place.(https://go.welocity.ai/candidate-list/me)

Prerequisites

  • The candidate must have completed an AI interview via Octo

  • You must have access to the Candidates section

  • Interview data should be processed and available in the system

Two Ways to Watch the Interview

Method 1: From the Candidates List (Quick Access)

This is the fastest way to watch interviews without opening the full profile.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Candidates tab from the top navigation bar.

  2. Locate the candidate using search or filters (Recruiters, Status, Availability, Interviews, Location).

  3. In the candidate row, click on the Video icon/tag next to the candidate’s name.

  4. The AI interview and analysis will open for quick review.

This method is ideal for rapid screening and bulk interview reviews.

Method 2: From the Candidate Profile (Detailed View)

Use this method when you want full insights and curated interview analysis.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Candidates tab.

  2. Click on the candidate’s name to open the detailed profile page.

  3. Navigate to the Interview section / Interview Analysis panel.

  4. Scroll to the AI Video Interview section.

  5. Click on the video player to watch the recorded interview conducted by Octo.

How to Review the Interview

  • Watch the full video to assess communication, technical clarity, and confidence

  • Read the AI Interview Analysis summary for quick insights

  • Review transcripts (if available) for faster evaluation

  • Check AI Score, CV Match %, and interview insights shown alongside the video

Evaluate the Candidate After Watching

After reviewing the interview, you can take action directly:

  • Update Status (Screen Select, Submit to Client, Client Interview, etc.)

  • Select or Reject the candidate

  • Put the profile On Hold based on evaluation

Note

  • The Video icon appears only for candidates who have completed the Octo AI interview.

  • Interview recordings and AI analysis become visible only after the system finishes processing the interview data.

  • For detailed insights and curated analysis, opening the candidate profile is recommended over quick preview.
